Frequently Asked Questions

Below are the questions we hear most often. If yours isn’t listed, reach out through any channel above and we’ll be glad to clarify.

How long does customs clearance take for food shipments?

Typically 24–48 hours if all documentation and lab results meet Kuwaiti standards.

What paperwork do I need to import goods?

A commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading / air waybill, certificate of origin, and any sanitary or technical certificates relevant to the product.

Do you provide real-time shipment tracking?

Yes. Every customer receives cloud dashboard access plus email/WhatsApp alerts whenever the status changes.

Is LCL (Less-than-Container Load) cheaper than FCL (Full-Container Load)?

LCL is ideal for small volumes but carries a higher per-cubic-metre rate. Once your cargo exceeds roughly two-thirds of a 20-ft container, FCL becomes more economical.

Can I offer Cash-on-Delivery for e-commerce orders outside Kuwait?

We currently provide COD inside Kuwait and are finalising regional partnerships to extend the service to select GCC countries.

Do you handle repacking or relabelling at the port?

Absolutely. Our certified packing crew can re-box, apply Arabic labels, or pallet-wrap according to Food & Nutrition Authority and Public Authority for Industry rules.

What are the maximum weight or size limits you can move?

Practically none. We have arranged heavy-lift projects over 100 tonnes by coordinating special-permit road moves with the Ministry of Interior.

Can refrigerated and dry cargo share the same container?

Dual-temperature “partition” reefers exist, but best practice is still to separate chilled and ambient goods to avoid airflow and insulation conflicts.

How is my final shipping cost calculated?

Total landed cost = freight + port/handling fees + insurance + customs duty + clearance charges, divided by weight or volume. We detail every component up-front.

What happens if my shipment is delayed at the port?

We issue an instant alert, negotiate partial waiver of storage fees when delays are outside your control, and, if needed, redirect or expedite inspection to minimise downtime.
